This project involved working closely with a group of people I was and was not familiar with, leading to some ups and downs in our group dynamic. When not at school with the ability to communicate with each other, we used a master Google doc to note down ideas and things we needed to do. Communication with teachers was pretty clear, as they understood what we wanted to do and saw what we were doing to make sure we were on track with a somewhat vague plan that we presented. The plan consisted of a drawing and bullet points including key features that we wanted to include in the vehicle.
As for hiccups along the way, we did not encounter anything major that slowed us down tremendously, fortunately. In terms of time management, I believe that we managed our time well, as we were able to meet deadlines and start testing on the designated date. This is likely because we did not have any major roadblocks. One of our problems was CAD designing, as our group was not very familiar with OnShape besides the limited experience we had with the initial assignment. We designated a majority of the CAD portion to one of our group members and he was able to get it done without major hiccups, with the rest of us checking in along the way, making sure that the whole process was smooth.
