In this blog post I wish to address to areas that I feel like I’ve established understanding of for the course. The two areas being time/project management and robotics.
At the start of the year end project, I was told to submit a planning tool and timeline tool to keep Mr. Crompton up to date with my final project. I’ve been using a tool called Motion to keep track of my events and tasks since the start of the year. However, I was unable to share it and was not able to show how I’ve been using it. So here is some evidence as to how I’ve been using the calendar.

This is a project outline and timeline, you can see that there are some cancelled areas of the project due to the time and skill restrictions.

This is what that looks like on the calendar.

This is the usual dashboard page I use on a daily basis. The green boxes are the ones related to the project. Sometimes, I overestimate how long it would take which results in the checked off task taking up extra space. It is, however, satisfying each time I check off a longer task.

Here is an example breakdown of an task without a sector of the project. I initially used the calendar’s AI program to map out the entire project, then proceed to go in and edit the individual details.
Next I will be referring to the robotics area of the rubric. I felt like I displayed mastery of the skill during the Victoria Trip. Which came from two main projects, the motor system of the boat as well as the mechanical linkage design. Here are some photos.

This is the boat.
This is a video explaining the mechanical linkage design process.
