Over the past couple of months, I’ve set out to create software that is capable of providing the experience of high-level coaching to athletes in all situations. The software is capable of deeply analyzing video to determine bio-mechanic efficiency and provide a comprehensive list of strengths, weaknesses, and things to work on, as well as drills/exercises to achieve your goal.

So far, I have been on course with my planning and been able to complete my prototype in time for this trip. I’ve also included basic GUI as well as a live demo mode where I am able to demonstrate the pose tracking, that is the skeleton on the left, in real time.
Through diligent planning, this process moved exactly as expected. I have met all deadlines and followed the timeline as much as possible. I don’t believe there were any remarkable challenges as a result of that. However, one thing that’s allowed me to have this success, and I need to focus on in the future, is the time in the schedule already allotted for mistakes and errors. Although I didn’t use them with this project, I still took advantage and created the live-demonstration mode which can aid in my presentation Wednesday night.
Next steps for this project is GUI work and porting the project to IOS. More specifically, porting the project from python to dart, and then using flutter to package and release a prototype of the app into IOS for testing.
