Hello! My name is Felix Hang. I am a 10th grader at St Georges School in Vancouver BC. Some of my hobbies are hockey, astronomy, robotics and video games.
I have played hockey since I was 7 years old and play for our U17 school team. I started to skate when I was 6 years old because my parents were under the impression that all canadians knew how to skate. Things spiralled from there and here I am. Hockey has been a part of me for many years, and I can’t imagine my life without it.
I also do a bit of software development and design, however, I am still learning, and am currently interning at a relative’s company, working on some small tasks here and there.
I participated in a Robocup Junior Soccer tournament in Eindhoven, Netherlands last year, and am currently designing and building the software for a robot for this year, there will actually be qualification events this year, which I think will be very fun and challenging.
This year with fusion, I would like to have developed some thoughts and opinions about whether I want to consider STEM as a possible career option. I would like to touch many different forms of STEM, such as chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, and CAD. Throughout this process, I hope to learn many useful things that will aid me further along the line, and most importantly, have fun.
“In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: It goes on.”
