Over the last week, the fusion group and I embarked on a trip to UVIC. Alongside, science venture, we explored a variety of different aspects of STEM, from the Victoria Hand Project to Optimization algorithms. We also experience a week-long project where we built propulsion methods for a thermoformed boat.
My biggest takeaway is the vast amount of different fields of STEM. Building an affordable prosthetic is in the same field of Computer Aided Design!

Related, the highlight of my trip would be the tour of the inner workings of the Johnson St. Bridge and understanding the scale of the mechanisms applied.
